Ms. Zehr, R.N., Ph.D., is a health care clinical consultant.
She was a corporate director for one of the largest HMOs in Minnesota. She also directed the planning and implementation process for integrating health care services along the entire continuum of care for an over 600,000-member HMO.
This included developing a regional sub-acute approach with long-term care facilities, interdisciplinary team assessment for frail seniors in a Medicare Risk Product, and starting the first HMO Medicare Certified Hospice in Minnesota.
Ms. Zehr has served on the faculty of several universities. She has held the position of Dean of the School of Nursing managing undergraduate and graduate nursing programs that spanned metro and rural communities.
